collected automatically when using this Application and or website. All Data requested by this Application is mandatory and failure to provide this Data may make it

impossible for this Application to provide its services. In cases where this Application specifically states that some Data is not mandatory, Users are free not to

communicate this Data without any consequences on the availability or the functioning of the service. Users who are uncertain about which Personal Data is

mandatory are welcome to contact the Owner. Any use of Cookies – or of other tracking tools – by this Application and/ or our website or by the owners of third-party services used by this Application and or website serves the purpose of providing the service required by the User, in addition to any other purposes described in the present document and in the Cookie Policy, if available.

In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, the Data may be accessible to certain types of persons in charge, involved with the operation of the site (administration, sales, marketing, legal, system administration) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies,

The Data is kept for the time necessary to provide the service requested by the User, or stated by the purposes outlined in this document, and the User can always request that the Data Controller suspend or remove the data.

-The use of the collected Data

The Data concerning the User is collected to allow the Owner to provide its services, as well as for the following purposes:

         Analytics, Access to third-party accounts, Registration and authentication, Advertising, Contacting the User, Device permissions for Personal Data access, Hosting and backend

infrastructure and Infrastructure monitoring.

The Personal Data used for each purpose is outlined in the specific sections of this document.

-Facebook permissions asked by this Application

This Application may ask for some Facebook permissions allowing it to perform actions with the User's Facebook account and to retrieve information, including Personal Data, from it.

This service allows this Application to connect with the User's account on the Facebook social network, provided by Facebook Inc. For more information about the following permissions,

 refer to the  Facebook permissions documentation located at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/authentication/permissions Facebook privacy policy located at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

The following information is used:

  • Email Address - to provide authentication and registration
  • City - To provide the list of Fashionistas for your city
  • Friends - To provide you with a list of Facebook friends who might have installed the DVCloset App and who you can connect with

-Device permissions for Personal Data access

Depending on the User's specific device, this Application may request certain  permissions that allow it to access the User's device Data as described below.

By default, these permissions must be granted by the User before the respective information can be accessed. Once the permission has been given, it can be revoked by the User at any time.

In order to revoke these permissions, Users may refer to the device settings or contact the Owner for support at the contact details provided in the present document. The exact procedure for

controlling app permissions may be dependent on the User's device and software.

Please note that the revoking of such permissions might impact the proper functioning of this Application.

If User grants any of the permissions listed below, the respective Personal Data may be processed (i.e accessed to, modified or removed) by this Application.

 

  • Camera - This is used by the user  to take photos of which they request fashion advice from a friend or fashionista
  • Camera - In addition it is used to make a purchased video call with a fashionista
  • Camera Roll - Access to the phone’s album when a user wishes to send an existing photograph to a friend or fashionista. Only the photograph sent is stored.
  • Microphone - This is used to transmit your responses to a purchased a video call with fashionista
  • Calendar - This is used to create an entry in your calendar of a purchased in-person fashion advice meet with a fashionista and acts as a reminder
  • Contacts - These are used by the application to discover which of your contacts have installed the application and provide you a means of connecting with them through the DVCLOSET app
  • Background - The application attempts occasionally to request new information for the user

 

-Fabric Answers (Google Inc.)

Fabric Answers is an analytics service provided by Crashlytics, a business division of Google Inc. In order to understand Google's use of Data, consult the Google’s partner policy located at

https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/

This service is designed for mobile apps analytics and can collect various information about your phone, highlighted in the Fabric Answers privacy policy.

In particular, this Application uses identifiers for mobile devices (including Android Advertising ID or Advertising Identifier for iOS, respectively) and technologies similar to cookies to run

the Fabric Answers service.

Fabric Answers may share Data with other tools provided by Fabric/Crashlytics, such as Crashlytics or Twitter. The User may check this privacy policy to find a detailed explanation

about the other tools used by the Owner.

Users may opt-out of certain Fabric Answers features through applicable device settings, such as the device advertising settings for mobile phones or by following the instructions in

other Fabric related sections of this privacy policy, if available.

TestFlight is an analytics service provided by Apple Inc. It is only applicable to Test users tasked with testing the application.

Personal Data collected: Cookies, email address and Usage Data.  The privacy policy of this service is located at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/testflight/sren/terms.html

-Amazon EC2

This type of service has the purpose of hosting Data and files that enable this Application to run and be distributed as well as to provide a ready-made infrastructure to run specific features or parts of this Application.

Some of these services work through geographically distributed servers, making it difficult to determine the actual location where the Personal Data are stored.

-Infrastructure monitoring

This type of service allows this Application to monitor the use and behaviour of its components so its performance, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting can be improved.

Crashlytics (Google Inc.)

Crashlytics is a monitoring service provided by Google Inc.Personal Data collected:

geographic position, unique device identifiers for advertising (Google Advertiser ID or IDFA, for example) and various types of Data as specified in the privacy policy of the service located

-Quickblox

Quickblox is the service that is used to provide interaction messaging and video-calling between users and fashionistas.

Specifically the following are used from Quickblox

  • Push Notifications  - notify users immediately of new advise or incoming calls
  • Video Calling - Provide the necessary infrastructure to facilitate a video call between a fashionista and a plain user

The service collects the necessary data provided to it to manage a user and list and a unique identifier to identify the devices of the user. Their privacy policy is located at https://quickblox.com/privacy/

-PayPal

Paypal provides the payment service to purchase an in-person session with a fashionista. The information gathered by this service

is restricted to their privacy policy ( https://www.paypal.com/gr/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full) . We only collect the fact that a successful purchase is made.

-Shopify

This service provides an online e-commerce store. We do not collect any information within this app of the user-interaction with this service. Their privacy policy is located at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy

-This application

The user’s interaction with this application necessities the following information to be stored

  • User’s Details as describe above
  • Fashion Advice received and given
  • Photographs that have been exchanged

The User's Personal Data may be used for legal purposes by the Data Controller, in Court or in the stages leading to possible legal action arising from improper use of this Application or the related services.

The User declares to be aware that the Data Controller may be required to reveal personal data upon request of public authorities.
