On the 22nd of September 2015, I walked down a runway for the first time in my life. Debut Magazine’s London Fashion Week Networking Party was the event that took place and I walked for new upcoming designers. The experience was exhilarating, surreal combined with a rush of adrenaline every time I ran backstage to change into my next outfits.
With the coming change of seasons, comes the change of wardrobe. Retiring your summer sandals to the back of your cupboards feels like you’re finally saying goodbye to summer (something I personally do not want to do!). However, this doesn’t have to be such a depressing affair when you can renew your footwear with this autumn’s shoe trend: The Ankle Boot.
Life in the fab lane isn’t easy. All this styling, blogging, MUAstry and pondering life’s big problems such as which film is better, Devil wears Prada or Zoolander makes your girl yearn for a break and the Indian summer we are having is intensifying the feeling. Usually around this time of the year, my SAD symptoms start to kick in, seeing so much sun just makes me think sunbathing, water sports, chilling and escaping.
Pilar Corias gallery is a new but very well known gallery in the heart of London. The gallery on its own has three different spaces and artists from all over the world are exhibiting each month their pieces there. The months of September and October it has the very special exhibition of the known artist Ulla Von Brandenburg.
The heaters in my house have already been set to automatically turn on at night so that we don’t get ice cubes for toes at 4 in the morning. As they automatically shut down between 12 and 1pm my sleep is disrupted by the intense heat from the sunshine, goose feather quilt and obviously the heaters. I don’t have a day job just yet but I do model freelance and after a long day of being in hair and makeup I do enjoy sleeping in. The fluctuating temperature really gets on my last nerve as we’re not in summer neither winter therefore its “swinter”.
