There’s so much to do in London on a Sunday – all the markets scattered about, car boots, beautiful brunches and Sunday roasts in quaint cafes and pubs. This Sunday however, I felt like doing something different than my usual window-shopping in Brick Lane. I had a taste for something a little bit peculiar.
I started styling around two years ago now. What I first thought was a foray into the glamorous life of a stylist; handling designer clothing, hanging out with beautiful people and directing extravagant shoots turned out to be a lot different. When you tell people you’re a stylist, they get visions of you bossing around models, assistants and looking glam all the time but truly, it’s damn hard work! So here’s my #StylistProblems that you guys may also be able to relate to!
We know we are in autumn from the air we breathe outside; fresh crispiness air this can tempt most of us to go home in front of the fire and drink hot chocolate, or for some it’s the dark mornings that make it impossible to even get up.
Say what you like about Kanye West and a lot has been said of this millennium’s most polarising artist, what’s not in dispute is that he loves fashion. When he makes statements such as fashion is the highest art form as he did on his most recent epic 2-hour interview with ShowStudio, he ends up in my good books. Why? Because I agree with him wholeheartedly, Fashion rocks and it is art. High art even.
