Let the party planning begin, for it’s that time of year once more. Not only is it the season to be jolly, but it is also the opportunity for opulence, grandeur glitziness and a wardrobe full of adventures. From feathers to faille, lame and leather, and not forgetting the steadfast; sequins, silk and satin, I can almost hear the champers popping!
Without fail, designers and the high street alike have supplied us with a festive feast of creations and silhouettes making our party attire dreams come true. Zara already has the sparkles shimmering, and this flowing skirt with sexy front slit will certainly dazzle at the office party.
I know I’m not the only one who is still fashion flying with the latest Chanel Cruise campaign, which is why I am bringing some pieces into the festivity celebrations. You can never go wrong with Chanel, especially for the party season after all, such delights are not meant for actual cruise ships or brisk stomps across a perfect sandy shoreline.
Vintage is seamless for any occasion, from weddings to birthdays and Christmas, the choices we have today are full with art movements, and classic traditional forms and cuts. Dries Van Noten never fails with such a print and approach. However, if you’re looking for something less pricey, there are plenty of high street versions that capture such conventional concepts.
From the classic LBD to show-stopping sequins, there is a party piece for everyone’s style. After all, you want to feel as comfortable as possible, especially if you’re having to mingle on your feet for hours on end, let alone hitting the dance floor for the archetypal Christmas tunes. M&S have been producing some goodies these past few seasons, particularly if you’re one for classic, characteristic and timeless pieces.
As for footwear, why not embrace these Topshop skinny sandals, which are perfectly on trend with the leopard print and minimal effect.
Sticking with the party feet, these Asos leather boots will certainly catch a few glances. Textbook if one has chosen a tame full-length black outfit, as such a design will certainly bring out the festive bling in you.
To finalise such an outfit, this All Saints chain clutch cannot fail. The beautiful vintage theme would sit flawlessly with any party pieces and a perfect size for fitting in your bare essentials.
Whatever your style, now is the time to start perusing online and in-store for your spot-on party season wardrobe, as any fashionista wants to be revelry-ready for when those invites come crashing in!
Happy shopping fellow fashionistas!
