In the boot

Creativity is merging so much, you could even say that fashion can be a work of art, and this is certainly the case when it comes to footwear. Designers are producing masterpieces for our feet and there are some marvellous styles for us this winter.
We’re aware that Doctor Martens are back on the scene, but what I find enchanting is that we are witnessing some bling-tastic versions of the classic style as well. These Moda in Pelle black berry delights are not only comfortable to the max, but the added subtle studs are perfect to brighten up the dull evenings and even more complete for a night out.
We will never forget the image of Rihanna first donning those Saint Laurent sequin boots, and ever since that twinkling moment, sparkle has been abundant. We have so much to choose from this winter that whether you’re a stiletto, chunk or a simple flat heel kind of fashionista, you would be bound to find a style to suit.
The western trend, or as some might call it ‘rodeo style’ has been widespread since the Louis Vuitton collection that created such inspiration. These House of Holland boots are a one off reminder that we all need the odd designer item to really ‘wow’ an outfit.
Red has been such a strong contender this season, but we shouldn’t let it go a miss that the snowy hue of white is also a substantial contender. These Chloe Susanna ankle boots are rock n roll chic; the glossy finish contemplates the opulence of the traditional buckles and emblematic studs. In my opinion, these gems would go with practically anything!
What I love about this time of year is the choice that is out there for covering up, especially for your feet. As we know, no outfit is complete without gliding ones toes into something that is original, comfy and cool.
